On arrival
Open the parcel and read the label. Check the product name, the vial size and the batch number. Put a lyophilised vial into refrigerated storage at 2–8°C when that is what the label says. Do not leave it beside a heat source.
Lyophilised powder
A lyophilised vial is a dry solid. Appearance can be a powder or a small cake. That description is about the solid in the vial. It is not a step to dissolve it. Bacteriostatic water, when sold, is a separate liquid and is not lyophilised.
What this catalogue states
Product pages in this catalogue that name a storage condition use “Refrigerate at 2–8°C” unless the page says otherwise. NAD+ also says protected from light. If a page has no storage line, use the label that arrives with the batch rather than guessing.
Keep the batch identity
Keep the certificate with the batch number. Storage does not change the number printed on the vial. If the packing looks damaged, photograph it and contact the shop before you discard anything.
